Why choose i>clicker?
Our growing community of teachers and administrators tell us they chose i>clicker over competing student response systems because i>clicker is:
- Easy to Learn and Use i>clicker requires no installation of hardware OR software—anyone can set up and begin polling students in just a few minutes.
- Flexible Unlike other systems, i>clicker’s floating menu bar allows teachers to ask questions in any application (e.g. Smartboard, publisher test banks, PowerPoint, Word, Keynote). Teachers never have to write or load questions into separate software.
- Simple The intentionally simple remote keeps students focused on the teacher’s lesson and not the technology in their hands. Designed for formative assessment and peer instruction, the i>clicker student remote is intuitive with six multiple choice buttons. The simplicity of the remotes makes it even easier to use for young children.
How does i>clicker enhance teaching and learning?
i>clicker is a cross-curricular tool that can help:- Formatively Assess Student Progress Collect immediate feedback and gauge whether or not the class is ready to move to the next topic. Progress reports allow teachers to analyze an individual students’ or the entire class’ progress. i>clicker is also a powerful tool for Just-in-Time Teaching strategies. Perfect for Parent Teacher meetings!
- Conduct Test Prep i>clicker is an efficient way to prepare students for standardized tests. Help students prepare with confidence and improve their scores.

- Address Special Needs At i>clicker, we’ve worked hard to create a remote that is accessible for every student. From the initial design of the large-buttoned remote to our vibrating clickers and Braille stickers, i>clicker is committed to making student response hardware accessible. Captures data for preparing in IEP.
- Make Class Fun & Interactive i>clicker is a great way to capture and maintain students’ attention during class time. Not only do students become engaged, but they are also active learners.
How does i>clicker work?
Teachers pose questions during class and students use i>clicker handheld remotes to respond. Responses are then transmitted to the teacher’s computer and automatically graded. The teacher can display a graph of the polling results to their students during or right after polling stops. i>clicker allows teachers to easily assesses students’ understanding of lessons as they are being delivered—formative assessment at its best!
