This exceptional program invites students to explore the plants, animals, culture, and geography of this ecosystem. As they trek around a photo-realistic panorama, images come to life through video, animation and sound. Students use handy on-screen journals to begin research.

The Visitor’s Center provides students with resources to conduct in-depth inquiries with a library of 24 interactive books that cover multidisciplinary topics. Students and teachers will also find a cross-curricular activity guide, a fun musical game and a detailed atlas of the deserts of the world. On-screen journals allow students to keep a chronicle of their investigation. Interactive books and related materials provide students with opportunities to perform extensive research.
